Easy Dresses and Material Stores

Being able to put on a dress and just head out the door is great. No thinking necessary. I wore this to Joanns. I could spend hours in that store coming up with new dresses and skirts. I bought some fabric for a dress pattern that I have had quite awhile, just waiting for the perfect material to be found. I cant wait to see the final product. If only I can just get past the cutting stages of sewing. Without a doubt, the WORST part of sewing.

Vegas Road Trip in IPhone Pictures

Last week my boyfriend and I, along with my brother and his girlfriend took a little road trip to Vegas. On the way home we visited my other brother and his fiancé in Newport Beach. Here are some of the pictures I took with my phone.
1. Packing for the adventure
2. Driving through the night to our destination
3. We saw the  sunset AND the sunrise!
4. Delicious pizza from the New York New York hotel in Las Vegas. So good!
5. The magical Excalibur hotel. Stayed here many a times in my childhood. Lots of good memories here.

Like my Grandma's Chicken Soup

Next week I am heading to Vegas (!!!) so to prepare for the all the extra food that will eaten, I have been cleansing for the past two weeks. Which means I have only been eating fruit, vegetables, chicken and steak. No sugar, dairy, breads or processed foods among other things. It's difficult, but worth it in the end. My mom and I were craving something else, so we started to read the labels of things we had in the cupboard, threw it in a pot and made the most delicious soup! Almost as good as my grandmas chicken soup, but there is stuff in hers that we can't eat right now. Remind me to put her recipe on here sometime.
This is what we put in it
2-3 cans Water
Chicken
1 can Tomato Sauce
1 can Died Tomatoes and Green Chilies
1 can Diced Tomatoes
1 can Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
Chopped Celery
Chopped Onion
Chopped Carrot
Chopped Garlic
Garlic Salt
Garlic Powder
Poultry Seasoning
Cilantro

The amount of vegetables and seasoning can vary, depending on what you like. Just add all these ingredients in a pot, boil and serve! So good and so so easy! Enjoy!

Fields of Flowers

Sometimes, the only thing that you need to do is take a drive to your favorite spot, where your talented cousin is waiting for you to do your hair and makeup and have just a little mini photo shoot with horses in the middle of a field. I highly recommend everyone doing this at some point. It was so much fun and it will definitely happen again. My cousin, Paige, made this whole thing possible, I just showed up with the clothes. It is obvious from these pictures that she is very talented at what she does. Follow her on instagram, and contact her if you have any events coming up. Weddings, dances, whatever, she does it all. If you like this hair style, comment below and maybe I can get Paige to do a hair tutorial on it :)

It's that perfect little street

The sun is out and it is begging you to spend the day outside. So you decide to put on comfortable shopping clothes and head out with your mom to Snohomish's First Street, the antique capital of the Northwest, a street lined with antique shops, boutiques, cupcake shops and restaurants. Its the kind of Street, where every time you visit you fall in love with all over again. It has that small town feel and is the perfect spot to spend an afternoon.
