Roadside Bouquet

Happy Monday! I have been playing with flowers like crazy lately and I kind of love it. All of these ones came from the side of the road. I just couldn't drive on by without picking a few. Do you blame me? This bouquet is made of Lilacs (Syringa vulgaris), Bluebells (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) and Annual honesty (Lunaria annua). You'll be able to learn more about these flowers later this week :) Hope this brightens up your Monday a little. Flowers are always good, right?

  3. Hi, I'm a avid blog reader , non-blog writer. Just wanted to say that I love learning about flowers through your blog! I'm not much of a flower person myself, I could probably correctly identify like three types of flowers, roses being one of them, but I'm loving looking at your pictures and getting to see what each type looks like. Also, I'm an East Coast girl, so it is really neat to see flowers of the west coast!

  4. Lately I've been wallowing in the fact that we have hardly any plants in our yard to farm for bouquets - but I love the idea of stopping along the road as long (as they aren't part of anyones yard!) Flowers are so the best accessory in a home.
